GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER®: 3-layer fabric with a very fine knit (175 g/sq.m) that presents weft stretch and is light, water-repellent and extremely breathable (RET<6). It uses a new type of membrane that ensures long-lasting and permanent water resistance. Due to the fineness of the yarns used on the interior, it ensures the utmost comfort next to the skin and active moisture management. The WINDSTOPPER® membrane is an ultra-thin protective layer which is laminated to a lightweight textile layer, making it totally windproof. It is made of the versatile PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) polymer which has been expanded to create a micro-porous structure. These micro-pores are 900 times larger than water vapour molecules, allowing perspiration to pass through unhindered. This means that the WINDSTOPPER® membrane adds total windproofness to any textile without perceivably restricting its initial breathability or weight.

Medium-weight stretch nylon jersey (215 g/sq.m) that is lightly brushed on back and ensures controlled compression and provides great comfort, even at low temperatures. Outstanding breathability, softness and stretch. Maximum moisture management for perfect thermal equilibrium. Comfortable and durable, it quickly wicks away sweat from the body where it can evaporate more easily. High UV protection. Easy-care.
